If you would like to listen to michael gerber who is author of the e-myth (an excellent business book), being interviewed on a radio show, you can FTP it down from my PC at 82.12.116.70

username: ukbf
pass: newyear

There are a few files totalling 10Mb as it is a hour long interview but it is a really great, I have listened to it loads of times.

The ftp server is only up when I start it manually so if you are reading this post in a few days or weeks you might need to PM me.

Cheers

Ok guys, they are a bit too big to email. And FTP is a pain so I have made them available for normal download.

Go to http://cardiff64.no-ip.com

Make sure you 'right click' and 'save as' or they will try to open up in your browser.

Hope this helps!

It took ages for me to download them, so I thought I'd upload them for anyone on UKBF to download in a single zip file. I'll remove it at the end of January

Enjoy downloading (http://codingmonkeys.biz/test/)

Listening to interviews is a great way to learn. I have 100's of hours of interviews that I have collected over the last few months. I put them onto my iPod and listen to them all the time.

All of the Joe Polish interviews are good, Brian Tracy is well worth listening too also.

When I listen to them, I go through it fully first, then aftwards make a few notes. Then I listen again and start to pause it to make detailed notes. I normally listen to each interview about 5 times to get full effect from it.

These interviews can easily be downloaded from t'internet. Is you use peer-to-peer then enter "marketing" as a search and you will get hundreds returned. I also have a load on tape from my flatmate.

If you have never listen to audio learning before then you are really missing out on a lot. Reading a book is good but when you actually hear someone speak I believe it has greater impact, plus you can do it whilst doing a lot of other things e.g. commuting, jogging, cycling etc etc.

Same here. I have about 5Gb. I listen on my MP3 player too. Makes walking the dog like going to business school for an our or two.

some of my favourites are think and grow rich from Napoleon hill and anything from Jay Abraham.. he is amazing!

I will check out Joe Polish, hadn't heard of him till now.

All the best,

Joe Polish runs a company called Piranha Marketing. Piranha is a carpet cleaning marketing company, however 99% can be transfered to other businesses and industries.

My flatmate works with his dad in carpet cleaning and brought Piranha to my attention. I watch bootcamp, 10 DVDs of a closed door seminar in the USA. That changed my way of thinking for ever. Since then I have read as much as I could on marketing.

I have quite a few gig of interviews and I would be more than happy to swap some if you like. I can burn them to CD and mail them to you. Let me know what ones you have and I will go through my list and start sorting mine.

Matt sent me a copy of this, it was excellent.

The interviewer is a bit OTT (though I've heard him before and he was even worse then!), but it's worth putting up with him just to hear the ideas Michael Gerber shared.

I'd recommend that anyone who's not heard it yet, downloads it and finds an hour to listen to it.

It could tranform your ideas about what your business is and how to grow it.

The interviewer was loud, but hey that did not dampen my enjoyment.

Michael Gerber talks so much sense.

It is not to every ones liking maybe, but to me he made complete sense.
