Ok as we all seem to have recovered from the debate on evolution etc.
I thought i would post this poll
Who thinks the lunar (moon) landing actualy took place

Not me, how did the flag fly if there is no wind on the moon.
Or maybe they had to film that after the landing, because their camera broke and didn't want to disappoint earth people

I believe they did actually land - but most if not all the film/photography was faked.

Now this is quite interesting, Al.
Do we know that any of the missions have landed, or have we been 'fed' this as hype?
Cheers, Nigel

No one questioned it at the time. Not even the Russians, who had a great deal to gain from doing so.
Also, for any conspiracy to be successful there needs to be only a few people involved, to pull off a moon landing hoax would of required lots and lots of people

I just saw a TV program on this subject, and the outcome was that if it was a hoax it would have been more difficult and more expensive that actually sending men to the moon. Also, as Top Hat mentioned, there were too many people involved for it to be a hoax, it would have leaked by now.

Bit more Descartes for mac,
The only thing I can truly prove is that I exist.
All I can therefore offer is my opinion, although mind boggling as it is, I believe we have been to the moon. I see little reason to fake it, and after all if you can do the math to work out where you are in space, the getting there is a lot easier.
Personally, I find quite offensive the conspiracy theorists analysis of the moon landings as those astronauts stood on the shoulders of many men and women, who had worked, slaved and died before them.
Whether it is the sub-humanity displayed in the annals of the nazi V2 program, or horror of being burnt alive in the capsule, unable to open the hatch. Great human sacrifice has, and continues to be made furthering our adventure into space. But I guess people just don’t consider others feelings when they propagate this nonsense.
Can't wait for the mars landings to stir up the same controversy.

I could not agree with you more.

ok,interesting response, 16 ppl agree that the lunar landings occured, 2 disagree.
Here is my thinking on it.
The flag that Kayne mentioned was held up with a bar that run across the top :-)
Also lets not forget that a hige number of ppl were involved in the missions. Both those who actually went and those behind the scenes. Now how is Nasa going to keep so many quite in such an elaborate hoax?
Also let us not forget that the astrononauts have openly said they left relicks of their mission behind. The lunar rover, parts of the lunar module, flags, plauques, and even foot prints.
Now would Nasa be crazy enough to say that no only did they send ppl to the moon, but they also know the exact location of the items left.
Now surely by the same token if Nasa did not really go, other missions later on will. How will it look if there is nothing there at all.
Neither Nasa, not the united states i think would live it down.
Also spare a thought for those who did go. They went on a mission where there was a greater than average chance that they would not rtn. If something did go wrong, then the chances of rescue would be all but zero.
To even specualte on the wether man went or not is an insult to the men who risked their lives to go boldly where none had gone before.
There is a probe goig to the moon soon, i tihnk a japanease one. I believe on of the missions this is tasked with is a flyby to see if it can spot any of the items that were left behind :-)

All the stuff they go on about in the photos is explainable if you understand lighting in space its similar to 3D rendering.
The planets best geologist examined the lunar rocks. Russia and england tracked the apollo missions all the way to the lunar surface with radio telescopes. Nasa personel are old now they would of spoken about fakes by now like the roswell and nuclear test guys did years ago.

How can you prove that you exist?
None of you exist. You're all a figment of my imagination.

how can you prove this exactly?
Also, how can you prove which is the dream, which is reality?
