A survey by a major UK hotel chain said that thousands of objects of all kinds have been left behind in hotel rooms.
This year’s assortment of objects has left hotel managers totally baffled. Among the most unusual items left were weighing scales, a rice cooker, a diamond Cartier watch, a cowboy hat, an Olympic bronze medal and a harp.
Nearly topping the list though were saucy underwear and dentures!
Below is a list of this year’s top ten left behind items:
Phone chargers - 2201
Mobile phones - 807
Shaving kits - 765
Bedroom accessories - 594
Saucy underwear - 580
Keys - 505
Pillows brought from home - 322
False teeth - 127
Electric toothbrushes - 126
False limbs - 80
The lesson here is hang on to your valuables!

Weighing scales - possibly used in the division of drugs - not so surprising therefore
cowboy hat - again who wouldn't leave such an article behind?
I like the fact that saucy underwear and dentures are most commonly left implying some connection. I have a vision of a pair of pink dentures firmly tangled in a stringy thong.

Ahhh tell me about it !!
My parents owned a couple of restaurants and I spent the first 15 years of my life watching the customers and the staff. Learnt a lot from it and now the customer service in my company is excellent.

Yes cafes and restaurants do test your customers service skills to the limits. If you can keep a couple of tables of gobby work men happy, you can just about handle anything

Completely agree.
I have always said that catering and hospitality is a very difficult industry to work in BUT if you are good with your customers then you are guaranteed success. Image is everything too.
I recently wanted to find the address of a French restaurant that I know. Typed in their address on Yahoo and what came up first on the results page ? Their health and hygiene report. After reading it I changed my mind and went somewhere else.

I will have you know Tom that the man who started Yahoo is my brother and if you give me £20,000 I will invest it in another project that he has that will basically allow you to be on the board at Microsoft.
Now you cant find a better offer than that, Whats your account number?

Nice one Jayne. I always clean up too. But I have to confess that my reason's are not as admirable as yours. I do it because I don't want the staff to think I'm a slob - which I'm not - really - well maybe just a little!
Okay! Okay! So the only way I can make a crust is to wear the same socks for three weeks. Does that make me a bad businessman?

I have to clean up, as my husband is just like you and I don't want the staff thinking it's me

I also thought that the 'bedroom accessories' referred to marital aids...
