Dad's moaning

Hey guys

Dad's after a 'Gortex Bivy tent' for some trek he's going on. He forced me to ask you guys if you knew of anywhere to buy them other than eBay. He was about to buy one off some American whose been an eBayer for like a week with no feedback whatsoever. He's just asking to get scammed!

I know this is pointless, but just to shut him up.

I bought my last tent at an outdoor sale in Keswick, Cumbria (nearby to me). This is unfortunately a seasonal type event and wouldn't be an option in the bleak mid-winter. Mine's a Outwell, but they had others on offer including the Vango type I think you are looking for.

There are a number of other outlets within Keswick, who frequently have sales so you might try a ring round or web shopping.

There is also an outdoor outlet place in Fleetwood, Lancs. They have some good tents on offer.
