Hello people and I hope the festive season is treating you OK

I have spent a lot of the holidays reading and listening to marketing and business information and one key issue that kept coming up is what are you going to give in order to get what you want. My goals are very high indeed and I know that to achieve them I need to give a lot back.

My main skill is talking to and helping others. I have helped a range of people from musicians to porn stars (strange but true) and I believe that I can also help a lot of people on here too. I have read a lot of books and listened to countless hours of marketing tapes and I believe that people here can benefit from the knowledge I have acquired.

On Christmas Eve I got a phone call from a lad called Tom who is in a band called Alecto. He wanted to order some band cards off me to help get his music known in Manchester. I spent an hour on the phone with him discussing how to market his band and how to use the band cards effectively. When he called me he informed that a couple of days before they had played their first sell out gig and they sold 100 tickets themselves. He also said that the day after the website traffic was an all time record and during the month of December they received triple the normal visitors to the site.

Can i just say that MK printing have been total diamonds where easy as it is concerned.

We had been ripped off by the cavendish group who were going to put an ad in the "Fall out" magazine for us. We lost quite a lot of money through this scam.

I spoke at length to Matt who not only came up with new and excellent ideas on how to market my training programs. But also it was he who suggested calling the company Easy as it.
Not only this but he has donated 5000 flyers to help get the company moving. and yes they did arrive, and they are fantastic, thanks again for those MK Printing!
It is well worth taking the time and effort to contact Matt, he is most helpful. As the man says, no spin, as he sees it. If you succeed he will to.

It might be of interest to all here to know that it was Matt who also put me in touch with a web developer and and designed the flyers for me free of charge.

I would also like to point out that i give this testimonial to MK printing freely, he has not asked me to write it. I have just found it myself :-)

Thanks to the reply posts and also to those who have contacted me. This morning I had 10 e-mails waiting for me requesting help in one way or another. I will get back to every single one of you.

Just want to say a big thanks you to Al from the above post. I remember reading about Al being ripped off by this company and I just didn't think it was right so I offer my services in the way of printing and my time. I think it is fair to say we have struck up a friendship over the last couple of weeks and we have spent hours on the phone and countless e-mails have been sent between ourselves.

That is what I like doing, helping people and solving their problems. If I am able to solve your problems with print then I will offer my services, if it requires something else then I will recommend someone who can help. So far I have passed people onto recording studios, t-shirt printers, designers, web developers, photographers and lots more.

As you can imagine I know a lot of people, and I really mean a lot. I have a network of friends from music to food to clothes that I can pass people onto. I do not pass someone on if I am not 100% certain of the quality of their work and customer service. Also I do not take commission from passing people on, I always let people talk 1-2-1 and whatever they sort out is between themselves.

Because I offer such a high level of customer service, whenever that person who I helped needs any printing done then they come to me. Also our name is passed on to others, even if they have not yet ordered themselves! 95% of my work is repeat or referral.

I hope to hear from more of you soon and I will ask people that I have helped to make posts here.

I am speaking to about 5 people today from this forum, I will ask them to make posts here on how helpful they thought I was.

Just spoken to Claire for 40 minutes. I hope that what I have told her has helped her in getting where she wants to go and growing her business.

Hopefully she will put some sort of response on here too.

Once again this is a totally free service and Claire will tell you herself what a difference it can make.

Why do I do this? Because I love my customers and also they are more valuable to me if they are successful. If I help a company and they are successful then they will require printing and they also tell others about me. If however they go bust they will never need printing off me.

Basically the better you do, the better I do!

WOW!!

Matt came up with some fab ideas that wont cost me a bean, and will mean I can spend more time painting and less time promoting. I'll also make loads of money to spend on printing and will of course use MK Printing to do so!

He's really very cunning! LOL

Matt, it's refreshing to see posts like this. I started "flying solo" with my own online travel business in Jan this year and am working hard at getting my websites known. Travel is very competitive and marketing is a real challenge. One of my strategies is to be active on several networking websites and forums, UKBF is great for this. Is there a way you can help me by referring me to your contacts? I can supply testimonials from people I help find accommodation or theatre tickets. I believe in the concept of winning by sharing and I've already helped out a few people here on UKBF. Any suggestions, ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I spoke with Matt for ages last night (these late night calls could get people talking you know!), and he's come up with some fantastic ideas for our catering business. Lots of stuff I know I should be doing but am too unorganised to get on with (which will now change!), and many other ideas that I hadn't thought of.

I've already started work on some of his ideas and I'm certain they'll pay off really quickly.

It is great to see so many people are taking up my offer, I had a good talk to Hayley from buffetts to suit last night and hopefully gave her some good ideas.

I just want to point out that I do not invent marketing ideas, I simply just use ones that work and have been tried and tested many times over. I use them and they work, people I know use them and they work, if you use them they will work.

Lawrence, I can certainly add you to my monthly news letter if you are able to offer my customers some kind of discount or offer. Send me an e-mail with some sort of proposal and I will see what I can do for you.

I do not know a lot about the industry you are in so I am not really able to help you in your marketing but I suggest you read the 100 unbreakable laws of business by Brian Tracy, Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill and successful networking by Carole Stone. That should set you on the right path.
