RSS/XML/Newsfeed

Can anyone advise how RSS works and how I can use it for our http://www.handsonaccess.com website where we have a news section. I would be interested to know how it is 'installed' and whether this is purely a job for a professional.

Again, I'm always useless at answering simple software installation questions, cos I develop everything myself, but if you wanted to use it with a blog, it's not exactly the easiest script to automatically do.

I believe Moveable Type has it built in, and I'd assume many of the other blogs do.

Handsonaccess - you could create a blog, something like Wordpress, and then publish the news articles on there instead - this would automatically have RSS installed, so you could submit this to RSS news feed sites.
