Hi
I've just purchased a 0800 number which I intend to forward to a voicemail box so people can register an interest. I'm a little shy and my husbands 'Geordie' accent may come accross to strong.
Can I ask if theres any members who would like to volunteer to make a recording of their voice for me to use for my voice box. You can send it to me by medial file or wmf.
I am looking to give the winner £30 to a charity of their choice.
Any Volunteers??
It would be something like, "THANK YOU FOR CALLING THE BETTER CHANCES.CO.UK E-LOTTERY SERVICE. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR NAME, TELEPHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL ADDRESS FOR A REPRESENTATIVE TO CALL YOU SOON TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. YOU MAY ALSO ENTER THE FREE DRAW TO WIN £1000 AT WWW.FREELOTTOTICKET.CO.UK - THANKYOU - PLEASE LEAVE YOUR MESSAGE AFTER THE TONE"
here the number 08000470135
leave your message and we'll pick the best one!!

I'm open to suggestions, I could put them on a site and let the board decide their favourite, what do you think??

I am said to be highly articulate, exhibiting excellent elocution and moderation. Unfortunately I have no recording equipment for me to assist your project.
Shy? Crap! You're on here, aren't you? I think you should do it yourself, because to the receiver a female voice is softer and conveys less 'sell' than a male.
Cheers, Nigel

Guys, you're doing it the hard way!
Lisa tell them all your number, let them leave you the message.
Choose the winner, then give him/her the password so he/she can call in and record it properly.
I can reset the password afterwards if you wish.
(You don't want me to do it I sound suicidal on the phone :-)

Fraid it doesn't work.
Try changing: onmouseover="FP_playSound(/*url*/'msg0000.WAV')"
Into onmouseover="FP_playSound('msg0000.WAV')"
Alternatively, people could go to http://www.betterchances.co.uk/msg0000.WAV and listen to it

My husband just tried and hated his recording, tone deaf! I'm still trying to build up the confidence (I would probably do much better with my promotion skill's if I increased my confidence)
Sinces its for charity Mal's put his up.

Hi Claire
Your right, the amendments did flow better, looks like at the moment your the only contender (Unless any more UKBF members have a few drinks to many and want to leave their own personal messages!)

I agree that Claire's voice and intonation are perfect for the job!
Since this exercise generated considerable interest, what about a UKBF mystery voice competition? We can agree a standard announcement, and everyone dials a number to record it. Once all the entries are in, someone can make the announcements available at a website, and we can then try to match voices to UKBF members. :)

Good job I'm posh enough.
Lisa, I've replied to your PM
By the way one and all, I just joined Lisas Syndicate, I'll let you know if I actually win anything. I guess it could be a good testimonial. (lisa gets on phone to lottery head quarters to ensure number fixing for Saturday night) LOL

Hi Claire, thanks for joining!
Theres a couple of memers on thi forum already joined as affiliate members however I wont give out their names however I'll pm them to let pass on their thoughts to you.
You can always 'try it' for the 14 days and if its not for you request your money back under the 14 day money back 'no quibble' guarantee. I'm not sure to be honest why this guarantee doesn't get people floodingin, especially since the Euromillions jackpot is about £55,000,000 this week. So if the syndicate wins you would still get over £1,500,000 each!
Would you like the free upgrade to affiliate member status (UKBF offer.) At least then you can make an informed report on all of the site? Just let me know!
Thanks again for everything! Officially the POSH'est UKBF member!

Hi Lisa, sure upgrade away. Does that give me Euromillions as well, because I'm only playing the uk lotto at the mo. How good would it be to win the New Years Eve draw, what a great start to 2006.
Magsite
30th December 2005, 15:25
Hi Claire, basically the upgrade will give the opportunity to be an affiliate member should in the future you decide to promote. It will give you the opportunity to view the whole site and all the affiliate tools. You will also be sent a promotion pack in the post by VWD
If you want to play the Euromillions I'm afraid thats another subscription however if you won tonights draw each member would still get over £1.5 Million!
Cheers Lisa
