Follow the instructions in the help screen.

If it's not working, then you didn;t follow them corectly.

Beyond that, I'm not sure what advice can be given as you chose not to explain why you think it's not working correctly or what it's doing that's wrong.

I have recently used Goolge conversion tracking and have inserted the code between the body tags of my completion page which is the last page on my site. for some reason there are no conversions showing up even though sales have been made.

Why is this?

Any chance you can post the tracking code here? Obviously without your GA account number. Otherwise it is impossible to tell what is going wrong.
