Changing default files in Plesk

Could someone tell me where the setting is in Plesk to change the order of
default files.
i.e.
how to make index.html appear instead of index.php (if there is an index.html)

Also how to allow directory browsing

httpd.conf file or local .htaccess if permissions allow you to override the settings

a bigger questions would be why you have both .htm and .php files at the same time ...
