Hello everyone,
Just joined the forum - thought i should introduce myself.
I am 41 (next) live in Sheffield and have an ecommerce site.
Eight months ago I was a central heating installer, now I am addicted to search engine optimisation.
I have read a number of posts and now look forward to joining in.
Cheers
Mark

I have to admit, I have become something of an internet addict in the last few weeks. Too much time on trains......

Hi Jayne,
Good to see people on a forum that don't live thousands of miles away :)
That was a major attraction to ukbusinessforums for me.

afternoon Burcot
welcome - as you say the replies are usually pretty quick on here (although this is slow for me - been too busy for last 24 hours and feel like i have missed so much while i have been away!)
the advantage is that if you have a question, no matter the topic there is usually someone who can help quickly
plus the advantage of Jayne being available to chat to 24/7 :D - thats my reason to visit :!:

Being a bit silly (I may have missed it), do you not want to post your site address?

Hi Richard,
I have not named the url of my site because i have seen others in my industry slip up badly by doing so.
For instance one competitor revealed a weakness in his stats analiser allowing access for anyone.
Another revealed that he was selling a stake of the company (£3,000,000) on a business tax help forum, others have given key information away to their competitors ie high pr link building campaigns.
I will let anyone know the url via pm, infact i have already pmd you the address :)
Hope this doesn't sound arrogant cos it isn't intended to come across that way.
