Hi guys
whats time of year do you think people are most likely to buy into your products/business? Do you think it depends on the time of year, or is that just nonesense and a sale will solely be based on the strength of your product.
Whats the time of year for you if you have one??

Time of year definitely has a factor. Obviously, the holiday periods will be quieter.

Definitely for me. This month is horrendous as every one is in Santa Claus mode. Jan, Feb, March we are busy because everyone is struggling to pay and be paid after Xmas over trading.

Quiet Jan - March with a blip at Valentines, St Patricks, Comic Relief (when on). Picks up for wedding business, Summer fetes, BBQs, World Cups, Parties etc April - July.
August dead, absolutely rubbish because no school business, no big events, everyone away, hot weather keeps people off the PC. But we are busy in the office preparing for end of the year.
End of August - End Oct mad for Halloween and then continues mad till Christmas.
Frankly I'm knackered and can't wait till Friday.

that makes two of us! I'm going to try and get all my work done so that i can have Friday off! If it means sitting up till 2am it worth it when that first taste of lager hits your tongue at midday and you haven't got to go to work!

It's gonna be dead for me until January, then I've got so much to do it's unbelievable. More busy than it's ever been, but that might be because people don't want to spend just before Christmas and my referrals are kicking in.

I will nic although i should be okay i'm 5'12 and used to play prop for england under 21's in my younger days! (i'm 23 now) so usually my appearence puts them off not paying!
But i'm sure your approach would much more tactful!

Well, I'm in the retail business so things definately are busy for me at the moment! I've been selling a lot of designer sunglasses this year and never realised so many people buy these at xmas gifts.

That would be silly to discount your best selling items :-) If anything, I would be better putting the prices up!

As far as I am concerned, it should always be today.
