Anyone thought of virtual offices abroad and trading internationally ?

Any pitfalls etc

i have looked into having designers worldwide, working remotely. i had planned on using Skype as a means of contact (and to keep costs down), and my website could then be used to present to clients, uploaded by any designer anywhere.

i have posted on a design forum to find possible designers, of which i had loads of replies.

will need much more research though, but could be fantastic if it works.

i cant see there being too many pitfalls with virtual working abroad, but obviously knowing the standard & quality of work you will be getting is essential.

what were you thinking of?
