I read Steves recent topic asking what we are all genuinely experts in.
Here's another slant on the same topic. Who do you know that is an expert in your opinion? Do you have someone you always turn to with any questions you have in specific areas? It'd be good to build up a list of recommended people. They don't have to be other UKBF members.
I know a guy called Tim, I taught him a little programming about 4 years ago. He's know way past my level in a few areas. He's not brave enough to leave the world of gainful employment, but if you need someone to help progam anything in .Net or using Web Services then he's your man. tim@mcowan.info
For all things relating to the technical side of Streaming Media and Digital Rights Managment then Ben Allen at www.agcl.com is certainly the man. Be prepared for a high phone bill and a sweaty ear though : )
For taking Streaming Media to the next level and doing some seriously cool stuff with interactive presentations etc then it's Steven at www.datmedia.co.uk every time.
Sorry mine are all techy : )
