Just thought I'd stop by and say hi.

I've heard alot about this site through a colleague & friend at dotnetwebs.

Anyway a little bit about myself and what we do........

After leaving another project rotting in the garage for a number of months & speaking to friends and collegues I decided to create a site for like minded people who, for various reasons, have an unfinished or abandoned project that they either want rid of or need help with. Originally the site was going to be for car enthusiasts but thinking about the idea I decided to try and appeal to a wider audience and now the site includes any project you can think of.

It's been on the net for just over a month, and its my first real attempt at anything other than static websites and so far all I've had is good and constructive criticism. (can't wait for some from here, I've heard it can be a bit erm destructive sometimes)

Anyway thats about it take a look and see what you think, add a project if you like, I know it needs some design work but its a long term project for me.............you could say unfinished !

Your Comments please

Hi Projectmaster

Glad you decided to join this forum. I think you have a great concept with your site.

See they don't all bite, the girls have given you a nice welcome! :D

Seriusouly though this is a great site to pick up some really useful tips. I am sure you will get plenty of help with your project. I didn't mean to worry you I just meant that when you ask for an opinion on here you usually get it warts and all.

Welcome.

I'm not a techie, so I'm not sure how valid my comments are. For what it's worth, I found your site well laid out but far too 'busy'. On the home page, for example, there's quite a lot of duplication.

Based on some recent discussions here, you may find a market for the 32 inflatables offered at your site.

Howdy,

I really like the idea with your website, but do agree with Steve. There's a few design problems with how it appears in Safari, but I haven't checked Firefox.

If you want any help PM me.

Thanks for all the comments so far, and I totally agree about the duplication, but at the moment I put that down to the fact that there isn't actually many projects on there, so there's bound to be some, with more visitors and more projects/services I'm sure I can 'spread' it all out a bit across the different sections, don't forget its only a month old, the duplication has actually helped with search engine optimisation so there can't be too much of it.
As for the other different browsers, I've looked at the analytics and I've actually only had 4.4% of people browse the site using firefox, so at this point I'm not worried, but thanks, I'll have to look into compatability.
Feel free to try it all out and add any of your own services/projects to the diferent sections.
