Directory Listing Update

hi all,

the business directory of UKB2B.ORG has now gone live and is available to list your business for FREE

it is running under the brand of http://www.need2find.net and the listings will eventually power other directories we have in production

the directory is regionalised in a general sense and all listings can include all of the following (or any combination):

* Company Name
* Company Postal Address
* Company Contact Telephone Numbers
* Company Website Address
* Company Email Address
* Company Description (up to 250 words)
* Optional Free Link to Your Website
* Option Email You Directly Link (allows you to monitor number of responses from this site)
* Optional Active Map Link

i have not put any listings in at all yet so get them in quick before i start filling them up (i have not even put my own businesses in yet :? )

Users already registered as contributors can just log in and click the submit listing button or you can register for free and submit.

please remember to include if you want listing in one region or in them all!!

this is not trying to be a yahoo or yellow pages but just an extra resource for people using the site and a way of businesses having another free marketing resource

i have literally only put this live 10 minutes ago so if there are any bugs in it that i have not spotted or any categories i have missed please pm me

two things i forgot to mention in the above post

if you do not want to register at the site and just want to email me then thats fine.

if you send all the relevant information to directory@ukb2b.org or to me personally at del@ukbc.net and i will put them on the site for you

and the other thing is that all submissions, emails and postings on UKB2B.ORG are dealt with by a person not an automated service so if you need any help by all means get in touch

Can log in but get "You are not authorized to view this resource. "... when I try to list :(

i am not sure what has caused that as seems to be working ok here. i have changed that page temporarily until i can get to the bottom of it

you can submit once logged in but it takes you to an email link not a form - just for now

i agree that form was a bit complicated - it wasnt designed for what i was using it for. (me rushing to put it out ) :cry:

sorry to anyone who has tried accessing the need2find directory in the last few days

the response has been great so we are seperating it from the site it was part of into one in its own right

this will go live in the next few days and i will post when it is available
