Hi,

is there anyone that does copy writing for websites? I need to improve my conversion rate. The site I have at the moment is far from ideal but it's going to have to stay for the moment, so I need to make the best of it!

So if anyone wants to offer their services, please get in touch!

Kindest regards,

Kal

The lay out could do with some work.

hi,
I have to say I used Scott -Copy and design. He looked at my website and suggested some tweeks and wrote the copy. Sales have really, really improved. I have not had time to compare to last year but he def. made a difference, and what he suggestes is often really simple but overlooked..for example telling me to use testominals next to the 'buy' button. I have even spoke to a few customers and asked them why they chose my site, and they said 'because it was so easy to read'!!!!!

Give him a shout...money well spent IMHO

Agree with Ali, the page layout needs some work as does your site architecture and navigation. So getting your copy re-written will help but you need to take a more holistic approach and consider the whole user experience.

My priorities would be to increase the width of the site from 680px to 950px and change from the very dull grey. An easy job to do - 5 minutes with the CSS and it's sorted.

It isnt just layout, or copy, or design, although a $100 makeover from scriptlance would do you a power of good to at least make it look more professional..

Start from first principles...basic questions

What are they thinking when they get to your site? have they come via specific keywords or, are they coming from elsewhere?

What is the FIRST thing you want them to look out, and how can you drag eyeline there....

Why should they buy from you instead of anyone else -

So What is the single biggest promise you can make to make it worthwhile them to read on

What do you want them to do when they get to your site and in what order?
