Hello Jay here
you may remember a week or 2 ago i was asking for the guy that sorted PPC and made it work. Well, i can say right now, i found him and i must say i was shocked! I had a £50 budget to do a small ad session and i still have some of that left, even though ROB made a few hundred ad's for me. All im really saying is he helped me big style made my money go a long way, contact him i did and im glad. THANKS!

That sounds great Jay,
I'm not so familiar how PPC works and we've always thought that it would cost a lot to get even a slightest result but from what you're saying you could start receiving great result even on a small budget.

Hi all,
Yes, agree with everything Jay said, Rob at top-click did the same for me - boosted our business no end - he's a top-man. :D

Is this "proper" traffic though, not just some program sending fake traffic to your sites? I'd also be interested in what PPC sites you participated in..

It's Google Adwords, I think that's all Rob deals with.

Hi All,
Thanks Jay, just helping out so no worries,
Lisa, I'm afraid you're right, no lotto type ads on Google I'm afraid!
I predominantly use the Google network, so ads (sponsored links) get shown on Google, Ask Jeeves, Tiscali and several thousand other sites.
Darren, hi, the traffic is proper in so much as, the ads are shown when a search is made for a keyword that I specify, so, if the searcher is interested, they will click on the ad, but, there is no guarantee that you will make a sale! Like most marketing, the stronger your USP, offer or other product benefit, the higher you will convert - and this includes having a site that is well designed, easy to use and engenders trust.
If anyone has any specific PPC (or even general e marketing) questions please feel free to give me a shout).
Cheers
Rob

Thanks Rob for the explantion. As you can probably understand I was initially cautious because I've heard of other webmasters raving about a company bringing traffic to a site - to find out it was all manufactored traffic.
I'd be interested in a free consultation - January is my businest month, and I'm thinking about using Google Adwords - in the past though I've not had much success, probably down to my own knowledge of how PPC works.
