View Full Version : Closing the Business Bank Account

Hello

I'm to strike off the company, still have few months to finish my "next accounts due".

I am having the business bank account that made no profit for a long time, and was used to pay various expenses. Since there's no much left, and the "free-account-period" almost ended, can I close the business account, and use the online (printed to pdf let's say) statement to have bookkeeping done?

I am cleaning my mess one by one, and trying to figure out where to start with.

Thanks!

Give the Inland revenue a call. They are so helpful with questions like this because they can tell you exactly what they will require. The reason I say this is, I haven't got an accountant yet, doing everything myself, and I call them about the myriad matters I find confusing in the accounts department. They're very patient (we're now practically on christmas card terms).
