Hi to all,
I am using an inkjet printer from 4,5 months.But now,i want to know that how can i make my printer work longer?What care should i have to take for my printer and cartridge to perform for a long time?Please help.Thanks in advance.

Depending on what you are printing, you may be able to get away with your printer's draft mode.
Most printers (in the print properties dialogue box) have some way of changing the quality of the print.
What's the model of your printer? I'll post instructions up here to change it to draft mode.

Yeah, if not draft mode, I actually got headed paper so that I could just print in B&W as opposed to print my logos in full colour.
I think this saved me about £3500 a year! (Which for my small business was quite a lot!)

If you are printing enough to be able to save that sort of dosh, then you shouldn't be using inkjets, you should have a laser of some sort. B&W laser printers are cheaper to run for larger quantities, and thats what they are primarily designed for.

look at bulk ink systems.
i would only advise using these if you have an 'out of warranty' printer - using the compatible inks will void any warranty!
i have used these bulk systems for some time and never really had any issues, the only problem i get is a slight difference to the printed colour but this is fine when printing letters and invoices.
have a look on ebay
