Hi,

It has come to my attention that people's daft comments in the business part of the forums, is getting on some peoples nerves. I for one and guilty and am very sorry for not taking the business part more serious :D

From now on, I'll only be daft in Time out, so not to upset anyone. May I suggest a bigger time out, maybe a singles section for forum dating

Thank You

Jayne :D

You naughty naughty girl.

I hadn't given it much thought but now you mention it. I don't think it's so much that it gets on peoples nerves, but more that it's a nuisance when you are watching a topic that is of interest and you keep getting email notifications only to visit the thread and find out that it's just banter. I guess it dilutes the ratio of useful info/debate to idle chatter.

But you are female, so you have a need for gossip and banter. Hence the time out section : )

(awaits death threats)

I have carefully considered the original post from our learned colleague and have come to the conclusion that I agree profusely with her comments.

I therefore agree to abide by the suggestion of reducing the humourous comments on all other threads with the exclusion of the time out section.

I wholehearted agree with the sentiment of this thread (apart from the gossip comment which I frankly don't feel is worth commenting further on) and apologise if I have been too flippant in previous business posts.

I think the banter has lead to the forum appearing more busy than it actually is and potentially putting off new members.

Too much banter maybe, a little is all well and good though, especially when it is impossible to resist.... :D:D

Yes, quite correct, Jayne.

There is a certain element of 'Forum Decorum' that should be maintained.

I'm just glad I have not been one to add wayfaring comment to others' posts.
Cheers, Nigel

I have to say the the business bit of the forum has got a bit out of control with hooligans running loose and hijacking threads and turning them into 'Time Out' sections. :o

I think people are getting a tad carried away with it all and some need to meet up and get it on! Maybe there should be a 'UK After-Business Forums'

STOP IT. STOP IT AT ONCE! :D

Maybe there should be a separate section for 'praising UKBF forum members'?? So ppl who have used the products / services of other members can say how good they are there!

I've already set up a dating thread for all the flirts

And I myself have been 99% good and not mucked about in the business section...I'm doing really well so far.
