Is there anyone who is good at writing press releasees?
I would like someone to go over the one I already have and give me some pointers in how to make it more effective.
PM me or email me at mark@rosesbydesign.com
Thanks

Here are some pointers for making good press releases:
1. If you are making a news release, you can always use the inverted pyramid structure where most of the important information are already on the top of the release, the information and facts then go from important to less important as you go further into the release.
2. It is a good idea to form a boilerplate that you can place at the bottom of your release so that editors can have a general idea about your company and what it offers.
3. Use the PR trick of putting in quotes that not only prop up the product or service but also gives readers an insight into the character or salient qualities of your company. That way you get to hit two birds with one stone.

Cheers for the mention Alan,
There's a lot of good PR people on here who, bizarrely for the profession, actually know what they're talking about!
You'll be able to get some good feedback (I've emailed you Mark)
