Drill Masters

Hi,

I am interested in updating our website to include video streaming, the ability to update projects ourselves and have specific keywords per page. Can anyone give me an idea of what it would cost to update the site?

www.drillmasters.co.uk (http://www.drillmasters.co.uk) if you want to take a look. Any suggestions on things to add would be greatly received.

Thanks

Rob

Ok video streaming can be done by another website (like youtube) and then you just put the embed link on your site ;)

To update projects, you need a cms solution. You could just have the projects page editable or you can move the hole site to a cms. You can then update any page on the website without coding knowledge.

Cost wise, it depends on your budget. ;)

I can help you out (converted a couple of sites to cms'). Pm me and I can find a solution within your budget

You could have a dynamic feed put on your website, then link it to a youtube account. Whenever you update your youtube account with videos, the links(feed) on your main site automatically gets updated. You can do this with all websites that have rss feeds, ebay, twitter, flikr etc etc

If I could just offer a bit of constructive criticism about the drillmasters site. Your repeat visitors will get frustrated about having to wait for the splash screen on your homepage.

Hi

As above the Video is easily done and moving your site to a CMS like Joomla wound be no problem the cost is in the intergration. I would also ask any designer if they walk you through the CMS as part of the contract.

Cost depends on the final spec. As a base i would say £400 min.

Cheers
