Signature Idea

OK so my last idea maybe wasn't such a great one but how's about this then.

Signature exchange. "I will add you on my signature if you add me on yours"

Basically every e-mail I send from my personal address will contain the following words

"I am a member of a signature exchange group and would invite you to check out these cool sites. www.company.com, www.company.com, www.company.com"

You can choose from just one or ten people or even more etc. to exchange signatures with. There will be no promotion text included and as it's a signature then it will be at the very bottom of your e-mail so it can't be classed as spam.

I think this idea is better than the last one.

What do you think??

I like the idea, but I dont think it suits a corporate image.

I don't send enough personal emails for this and there is no way it would go out on our business emails.

I agree with the comments above. It's not attractive or suitable for a corporate image and I only put my own company details in my esignature.

My email signature is long enough as it is - but how about the same idea but on forum signatures? I know Google isn't particlular giving much weight to signature links nowadays, but it'll be a good way of promoting a group of small business / companies websites.
