Hi there, can anyone help shed a little light on a wee small problem I am having with google search........i have two google search bars on my browser window (I am not sure why) the problem I have is if I key in the search term 'metal wall art' in one of these tool bars I get shown on the first page about three up from the bottom..........If i key in the same search in the other tool bar that is again google i am no where to be seen within the first pages ....as far as I can see there is no difference between them at all and I dont specify a uk search or anything different at all so why is this happening?? any ideas anyone? many thanks in advance :-)

Well you could stop using the toolbars for starters and do a normal search. You are at the bottom of page 1 if I do a proper Gogole search.

You need to remember that the toolbars are spying on your searching habits and may personalise the results pages based on your searching history.

I think the main search results are also tailored if you're logged in.

one of the bars is probably the search bar, the other will be the address bar where you type the website addresses? And also check to make sure the google search is set to uk specific, if thats what u want

Thanks for the replies everyone it all just seemed a little odd to me, its good to know that I am not the only one to have found myself on the front page ....now my task is to get the top spot with a newly revamped site that works quickly and converts well.......any ideas welcomed!:)
