Can't remember the term!

There is an accounting term that I have forgotten and it is annoying me!!

I have an invoice from company A for £300, but company A also owes me £300 for services rendered.

Rather than writing out cheques, we just cancel out/ offset invoices/ exchange/ swap debts??????
