Dear all

My first post here - very impressed with the community on this site!
I run a new children's literature magazine called "The Scrumbler" which I have been marketing myself since it launched this summer.

I am looking to hire a freelancer who can help with :
- building contacts in target markets (schools, libraries, niche bookshops, art gallery bookshops, book groups, etc)
- following up contacts and selling subscriptions

I'm looking for someone who is confident, but isn't too pushy, and can simply establish a relationship with interested groups, explain the concept and drop off a sample issue... then follow-up a couple of weeks later.

I can pay for up to 1 day per month of work, paid by the hour, plus a small sales commission which we can decide.

Ideally, this would be someone based in Oxfordshire or nearby... not strictly necessary as the magazine has a global reach, but I'm trying to start locally and broaden out. It would also be desirable if you had publishing/educational background.

If you're interested, or if you know someone who this might suit, please get in touch through private message.

Best

Actually, let me correct myself. I can help with selling advertising space but not subscriptions. :) Sorry, read your post too quick.
