Hello, never got a chance to introduce myself to the forums. I'm Quan, proud owner of Quantecsoftware (http://www.yourecommerce.com/). I learned how to program at an early age, and by the time kids in school started to learn how to write essays, I learned how to write programs. But I have been in web design for E-commerce for 11 years and work with local schools, recreational sites, and local stores. Other interests of mine are drawing, Judo (started recently), and collecting carnivorous plants.

Simple, Steve. Quan is a vegetarian and it's the only way he can dispose of his meat scraps!

Oh boy, that hobby started way back when I saw the first Venus Flytrap on an old magazine. I think I got my first plant from K-mart or someplace.

Fastfences-Ha! No that is not why I keep these plants but nice guess. :lol:

whilst your here then perhaps you can tell me how long it's going to take for my venus flytrap to actaully grow... it's been about a year and it's hardly grown..i want one with at least 6 foot traps :)

JustOneUK-These plants take about a year to reach maturity. They could only grow up to 6 inches in diameter with traps up to 5 cm. Maximum recorded trap size was up 6 cm.
