I normally use signup.to for my email marketing, but have the need to send to 100 contracts on this occasion. Signup.to only allows 50 for free.

I would pay but only use such websites twice a year so don't see the point.

Can anyone suggest an alternative company with 100 free contacts?

I've recently started using mail chimp (http://www.mailchimp.com/) and can't fault it. I think you can send to upto 3,000 people a month for free (or, more correctly, 6 times to a list of 500 people),

Do you find it effective?

I find the emails very effective. Only do it a handful of times each year, and it's my only form of marketing. If I send cold emails to around 50 contacts twice a year it results in around £65,000 turnover.

What business are you in? And is this to existing contacts who are already aware of you or your business or pure cold emarketing?

I'm in creative advertising. They are all cold contacts, I normally just research them myself online.

I've never used it but I heard aweber.com is the best. Most people seem to use it.
