Hi All,

I have just had to install a new hard drive into my laptop no biggie!!

However after installing all driver and windows updates I am still missing a few and cant find them anywhere.

Spec
Sony VGN A317S
Windows XP pro 32bit

Missing Drivers
Mass Storage Controller
TVC-U01

Everything else is rocking and rolling having a few glitches but just hoe that if I find the drivers all will be fine.

My next stop will be Sony however the unit is out of warrenty so I thought I would try here first.

Regards
Mat

The mass storage controller should be included in this driver package:
http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/preinstalled/index.aspx?l=en_GB&m=VGN-A317S

It's usually part of chipset.

Pretty sure the second one is the webcam... You could try:

Good luck :)

Thanks Jeremy,

I thought the first one would be the chipset. However I installed it again but no change. This is my chipset

Chipset
Detected Chipset:
Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS/PM Express Chipset family
Chipset Components
Memory Controller:
Mobile 82915GM/GMS/PM
I/O Controller:
Intel(R) 82801FBM I/O controller hub (ICH6M)
Integrated Graphics:
This chipset does not contain integrated graphics.

Do you have any ideas ?

I had not thought that the second one would be the webcam. However the webcam is not built in its a Logitech Sphere. Any Ideas?
