I am quite new to the business world, although I have run my own businesses for 4 years it is only now that I do it fulltime. I am aware of networking meetings that small businesses can go to but I have not seen any in Manchester. Does anyone know of any that are held in the NW area?
If not I have access to a great venue with a private bar. I can arrange a networking evening for people in the NW if anyone here is interested. I will hopefully make it free and encourage people to come down with business cards and product samples etc. I can even set up a mic and PA so everyone can introduce themselves and say what they do.
I do not want to make it a selling event, I just want somewhere that small businesses can meet up, discuss marketing ideas and make new contacts. Basically I want to do what this forum does but in an actually room.
If anyone is interested or knows of existing meeting please post here. I will not be able to do one until next year now but I can put one together if people are interested.
