Hi. On my site I've noticed many images have a fair amount of whitespace on them. This increases page load times, and on the small versions, its hard to make out what some products are.

I want some software [free preffered] that can remove the whitespace of 400+ images in one swoop.

Any help appreciated.

By remove white space do you mean, crop the image so that its height and width are smaller?

What graphics program have you got?

And point us at your web site so we can have a look

I mean crop the blank [white] pixels around the edges of an image, so that only what is needed is left, so that my images are more consistantly presented on the page.

I tried your link matrixx but this doesnt have the feature I need.

Could probably do it with Corel PhotoPaint and a script.

Others graphics programs can probably do it with a script/macro.

What graphics are you using?

photoshop or fireworks may well have scripting.

Look for scripts, macros or visual basic, probably in the tools menu
