Is it right for a merchant account to take money from me ?

Hello everyone , I used to work with a china manufacture sort of a partnership , all sales I got from the web site went into a china merchant account which was owned by this china manufacturing company.

Then I open my own merchant account and the china manufactures went out of business and no longer trading anymore, I used the same merchant account company as when I had a partnership with the manufacture. and now since the manufacture being out of business their has been loads of charge backs ,

This company - p+++++ys.com they keep taken money from my other account . do they have the right to take this money ?

The account with the charge backs is not even in my name , its owned by the china manufactures , Can they still take this money from me, I was only working for manufacture and earning commission.

It all depends on the agreement you signed when you took out the new merchant account. I suspect it is inevitable they will hold you responsible for any losses from the old account if they are still doing business with you.

Best advice is to get a new merchant account with a different company?

i didnt sign any agreement when I open the new merchant account. i just open the account through the internet . no signing , no phone ID etc .


I already got a new merchant account, But the old merchant account has 1000£ worth of monthly payments going into the account

This is confusing. If the old venture has ceased trading, how come there is still money going through the old account? From what you say, the chargebacks should not be going through your new account, they should be going to the old account as there is money there to service the chargebacks.

You do need to phone the company and ask why they are applying the chargebacks to the new account. There might be a simple explanation.

Type patarsys.com in google , there is many people with problems. the old patrasys.com account was owned by a china manufacture and they are no longer in business.

Then I open my own business and patrasys is taken the money from me at not the china manufacture.

I used to deal with customer service for the china manufacture and supply patarsys.com with any tracking numbers if there was any problems with charge backs etc. I am fed up giving this information ; No matter what I do they take the money back even when I prove goods have been delivered.

They are taken the money becouse I used to work for them and it was sort of a partnership but nothing in written contract. do they have the right to take this money ?

altogether they have taken about £15,000 in the space of 8 months

I Feel that if i take it to court they could win and I will pay £5000 ++ Or I could win and keep my monthly payments of £1000 and ballace of 3k.

they are doing something dodgy , they will not tell me who they are regilated with - which company process the payments for them. sure they are a franchise of a bigger company they will not say who

Not sure what to do.
