Hi all, I am doing a questionnaire for my A-Level Business essay on the London 2012 Olympics.

1. In Your Opinion what do you think customers are going to need for the Olympics? For example products, accommodation and so on.

patience, endeavour and courage - and that's only to get to each of the venues :D

Seriously though

Good quality affordable accomodation, better transport, an information network to help people plan their trip in advance, information on the ground at the event in terms of notices, street signage even stewards all over the capital. Another important aspect will be security - everyone needs to feel safe to enjoy the event to its maximum.

A manageable and convenient selection of products and services that corresponds to their needs. e.g., packaged services such as tickets to games, theatre, and other facilities, information to events, etc...

Are you thinking of using this feedback to do something yourself? Good luck if you do. Just make sure you don't get carried away with only focussing on the 2 weeks of Olympic madness... I say this because most of my revenue streams from a service business I had was based around the Sydney Olympic games.

I think London will go Olympic crazy. Like when wimbledons on, everyone buys tennis rackets and go's tennis mad for a couple of weeks. Sports shops should do well.
