hi everyone,

having recently taken over the remnants of another company with a multitude of brand names / domains registered it seemed to make sense to start doing something with them

the one in question at the moment is http://www.2bmoving.com

it is basically a service matching homes to home buyers - i wont give all the blurb here but if people could take a look and give any feedback it would be appreciated.

it is not just an online venture so it is not designed to be a fish4 or propertyfinder - you will see what i mean when you take a look

it has been working well for us so far but any suggestions on the site and/or the idea would be appreciated.

we are also giving free editorial content to estate agents involved but that isnt on the site yet

look forward to comments

(be kind - i am quite fragile!!)

I've taken a look at the site it's quite clear, not too jarbled and the '3 step plan' is easy to show the visitor what is needed to get the information they want - very informative.

Negatively I'm not sure what I am going to get before I register. People are still a little relectuant to register on sites (and part with email address etc...) until they know what they are getting.

It's very textual but would benefit with some related images. Maybe you could provide more details on what the visitor will get when they register, maybe add a FAQ section - and how would I contact you if I had a question before I register (I couldn't find any contact information).

Simplicity and visualisation are key factors in ensuring registration. I'm afraid if I were looking for your types of services I'm not sure I would register with this site - I'd probably look elsewhere.

Maybe a little blunt - but honest.

Maybe try:

- More images, intice the visitor with visuals

- More on what you will receive and the benefits (why your visitor absolutely needs your service and why they will struggle without - not those words but get this message across)

- I'm sure you would benefit from some search engine optimisation work on the site to help drive visitors looking for your service to your door.

Hope this helps but if you are looking for any other ideas on making small changes but giving big impact contact me through our website.

Good luck!

dean,

thanks for the feedback and will take it on board

it was deliberately designed without imagery to assist in not making it look like a portal but i agree it could benefit from a little brightening up

as for the contacts - there is a link to the contact page at the top but you obviously missed it. i will move it to the main menu on the left for ease of use

once again thanks for the feedback, i think we all benefit from others help. when you get an idea you tend to only see it through your eyes not your potential clients

its easy for me to understand - i invented it but does in come across well - this helps me to rethink how to present it
