Our Personalised roses may get a feature today on ITV's This Morning Show.

Let me know if you spot them.

I just spotted them on the show.

Shame they took them out of the box, as they look lovely in the packing.

Time will tell if we get a good plug....

Well done.

How did you manage that? Do you use a PR company?

Hi,

We're fairly new to the forum but would like to say well done.

We're looking at getting our website with PPC and may look into affiliates, which company have you used for your marketing and the above (if thats ok to ask).

We run a discount for parents, it's a new and unique concept which we're looking to fully launch very soon. If you could join us and provide our mums and dads with exclusive discount then don't hesitate to visit our site at www.theparentingcard.co.uk or email me via the forum.

All the best,

Jen

nice one Mark, hopefully the first of many. Perhaps you should try and get a contract with the shows that have bunches of flowers on the table...like that womens daytime chat show or Parkinson. That would be great

...forget that....just make some Parkinson ones...and send them in 8)

You can start adding that "as seen on TV" banner to your site now :)

Regards
James

Hi All,

Did anyone actually see it?

We had a pretty good feature.

They did not post our webaddress - but the 'From RosesbyDesign' did the trick.

Sales have skyrocketed!

Im happy as nearly all order so far have been spread out.

I didn't see it but I have just taken a look at the This Morning website (http://www.itv-thismorning.co.uk/HomeAndGardenArticle.aspx?fid=428&tid=2) and there you are sixth from the top of the list with your website and phone number.

Congratualtions and well done, Mark.

Well done - fantastic idea. I wonder where you might have picked it up from? lol

Anyway, I reckon those Loose Women would love one each too! And Fiona Phillips on GMTV. You'll do great!

Not bad hey!

It was a good feature.

I have another feature for next monday, Our personalised roses will be presented to Mariah Carey on another Live ITV show - with Mariah's face embossed onto the petals.

Its an amazing start for the 3 weeks we have been online!

Any suggestions how I can get my art onto all those interior design shows on TV?

Great slot Mark, pity I missed it but the PR is great at this rate you may end up being the first UK business Forum magnate, remember we knew you before being famous.

If you get rich and famous by February can I have a bunch of roses free, just because I'm so nice?

Hi William and Claire,

Of course I would never forget UKBF, remember if it was not for you guys my business would not have been born.

From UKBF members that chat to me and know me, they have followed this idea from conception.

So all should feel proud.

Might sound corny, but its like everyones business here as many of you have given me advice along the way!

Claire: maybe an exchange for one of your lovely creations and you got yourself a deal!

Also If you want to get yourself some PR, get calling up those TV companies - its worth a try...

However, I do think the key to our very early PR success is the uniqueness and our product being so different.

Sell yourself as being new, different - good luck

Thanks Mark,

I am quite proud actually as I have been sending out an e-mail campaign to local interior designers and one finally called today to ask for a quote on a huge Egyptian Sunrise.

She told me that it was great to find someone who she could buy from directly that could custom make her clients art work. I'm sure there are many more of me, but my little catch phrase is "Buy directly from the artist".

Lets hope she orders and sends lots more business my way.

Congratulations Mark! It's good to hear things have started so well, and I hope it continues! Having such a novel product really lends itself to some great PR so we're bound to see more of you soon I'm sure! Perhaps I should have invested in your business in September... ;)

Hi Mark,

Congratulations. Sorry I've not been back in touch but we have just finished getting issue 3 off to the printers and have been mega busy -

Why don't people understand that a deadline is a deadline and if they don't stick to it, they miss out!!!!

Anyway, I will get in touch soon, in fact I'll do it now while I have 5 minutes spare!

Well done Mark, I have to ask- have you had chance to look at the stats for your website, if so how many more hits did it bring in?

Hi Mark
I've only just joined the forum but would like to congratulate you on your fantastic business. I had a look at your website and its really nicely laid out, well done. My marketing manager thinks our product should make the tv also, as there is nothing like it available and it will appeal to a wide audience. I am also waiting to see how much your sales increased by, so it may give us an idea of how much stock we should have made available before we launch it.

MarkPearson

Its obviously not good for me to post my site stats and sales figures as some of you have asked. Some information I feel should be kept private. Hope you understand that.

Sales have increased lots as well as site visitors.

Also Caroline i think it really depends on the product and product price on how many sales a feature on national TV woudl generate.

No probs Mark, totally understand. Glad to hear you are doing so well :0)
