Is anybody else unable to connect to Voipfone at the moment. My phone and their website are both down for me?

OK here on an O2 connection, receiving incoming calls.

I'm getting an under 20 ms ping, which is normal.

Our primary DNS server has died but it failed over to the secondary within a few seconds - you shouldn't have noticed anything. Are you now working again?

Humph, it appears that our primary DNS was taken down because TeleHouse North had a power outage:


Telehouse are mandating a power outage in TFM2 (where our Telehouse North equipment is located) in order to switch all racks over to a new power distribution system.
Good to know about that planned maintenance post outage.

Anyway, it's nice to see our failover systems doing what they're supposed to and justifies us spreading our Name Servers around different buildings and networks.
