How to send fax direct from PC

I do not know if anybody would have any answer to my apparently weird question. I wonder if there is any way to send a fax direct from PC connected to intenet through broadband?

What you're asking for is to be able to make a phone call from your PC to an ordinary telephone number. This requires a service, not just a piece of software as you need to be able to pay for the call to the fax line.

If you do a bit of googling you'll find companies that do this.

My company does it the other way round - allows you to receive a fax as an email and we will eventually do email to fax - but not at the moment.
