I mentioned this in the past, so if anyone registered I guess you'll be receiving the official e-mail soon, but for those of you that haven't you might like to check out:
http://www.jumpforward.co.uk
Since it's now all up :-)
P.S: It went up an hour ago, so more content is still being put in.

That's because it's a members site. It's not really officially launched, the newsletter will go out to those that have asked to be contacted. That should lead to a fair rate of sign-up and start to make things busy, then the official release will be sent around.
I kind of jumped the gun ;-), but that's alright - you guys aren't going to tell anyone are you? ;-)

The site looks really nice - well done.
One small thing; on the tenders page where you tick against your primary skills, 'journalism/copyrighting' - it is actually copywriting. Copyrighting is totally different.
As a wordy type that kind of thing would bug me!

It's a great looking site, Richard - I've registered and will be checking back regularly!
As another wordy type, though, I was wondering if you have any plans to allow members to upload portfolios in a format other than images? My portfolio contains writing samples, obviously, so is in .pdf or word format. It would be good to be able to upload the samples, although not hugely important as I normally just email them to anyone who asks.
Best of luck with it, I'm sure you'll have a lot of interest :)

Thanks for that :-) Amended in the database, so that should be most of them just getting some peeps to go through the content to see if the mistake has been taken into that.

Thanks, our designers will love that everyone likes the look and feel. I on the other hand will be happy with it being stable and working since it's probably one of the largest role-outs of our standard CMS as present (yes folks the core engine of this is the 2.5K CMS, although there are tonnes of modules on top), but it's a good advertisement of what can be done.

There are tonnes of thinks on Jump Forwards wish list of things to do, however now with the central premise of the site working we all felt it was time to release, and put the changes in later. There is also some call to upload to flash and other bits and pieces so I can see the portfolio side of things expanding quite quickly.
