Hi Folks,

My first post was actually in the accounts and financial board, but a reply on that has now made me want to post one here on the general board. Me and a friend have recently (in the last few weeks) decided to go into buisness in the Plastic card printing area, ie loyalty cards, membership cards, ID etc etc.

Thats the introduction done, i've just got back from a 3 hour focus meeting with my partner in the pub! We've now decided on the machines which we will hopefully be buying in due course and have agreed the total area of office space we would require. The cost of starting up as a rough estimate is $50k which after all the equipment and other running costs were paid for, should cover us for the first few months of trading too.

My task for this week is to draw up a draft business plan which we will be taking to BusinessLink before Christmas to get some pointers of where we should be aiming. I don't foresee anything happening quickly, we've still got so much to work out like the website and market research etc etc. Anyway, i'd appriciate any feedback however small. This is the kind of place where ideas are thrown around and we end having a stronger plan because of it!

Thanks all!

Mark
