Hi Everyone

I have been a member of UK Business Forums for a while now but have never introduced myself.
Well firstly my name is Chris and I currently live in Switzerland but I am a British national. While living in Switzerland I am learning German and am currently attending an intensive course. I am finding the German language a bit difficult but I think I'm following it pretty well.
My girlfriend is Swiss and she works for a marketing company. I hope to start a job in January when my course finishes.
To keep me occupied out here I started to write an online printable magazine. Some pages are written by me and some are written by the general public. In my magazine you will find things about History, Recipes, Travel info, Jokes etc as well as my own dedicated doctor and problem page. If you would like to take a look then please visit www.freecybermag.com and if you have anything you would like to submit or a page you think would be interesting then please write to me at info@freecybermag.com

Thanks to everyone who have already helped me with my site and mag and I look forward to meeting new people too.

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris,

When I tried to download a copy of the magazine, it asked me for a username and password. I didn't notice anywhere to register to get one - am I doing something wrong?

Hi Chris and welcome.

Welcome? After 73 posts? Would have thought you're a regular by now?

I remember your post calling for volunteers to your new site. went something like this:

I want to get things right before I go live and your my guinea pigs ha ha.
If anyone is upset by this post or feel I am doing something wrong please let me know and I will edit it so I don't cause offence. I don't mean to.
Thanks to everyone that volunteers anyway.

I didn't mind being a 'guinea pig' and submitted various content and posting to your site. So enthused about your forum was I, that I became pro-active in referring potential members to your site.

But the heirachial gremlins seemed to despair at some of my posts, although my 300 odd posts here and 750 odd on http://www.gardenlaw.co.uk/ have all been received within the spirit they're written. So why was I given a PM reprimanding me for asking a civil question? No libel, no insults, no defamation, just a simple question, then ultimately told that I'm not suitable for the forum?

Suppose I was a trite concerned at that, but nowhere near as concerned to learn that I was BANNED from your forum. Do you keep me as a 'stat' as the first keen contributor BANNED from your forum? S'pose I'll never know.

So again, welcome to UKBF, although I summise there's an ulterior motive to this clandestine re - 'introduction'.

cheers and regards, Nigel

Nah, they'll all think I'm soft and woosy. I have an image to uplhold: strong, masculine, handsome, intelligent . . . ooh, I'm getting a touch excited - gotta go
Cheers, Nigel

Hi Nigel

Thank you for welcoming me. And as much as I would like to speak my mind right now I am not going to lower myself and make a post of it for all to read.
I am not in the habbit of banning people from my forum for askiing a civil question. Your post was unsuitable and I explained why. I didn't ask you to leave at anytime and as I recall, it was you that removed all your posts from my forum.

Can we just leave it at this and agree that we are not going to see eye to eye.

Thank you nigel and goodbye.
