I am Thomas Schott and I am currently in a possition where I am looking to go business alone. I like a challenge, good at working under pressure and am not a big sleeper, so I guess I am half way there to becoming an entrepreneur.lol.

Had a quick look round and can say that of all the business forums I have been on this looks the most honnest and supportive. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and helping with advice (and of course getting some myself).

WOW! thanks for the quick response. I am looking to create an ecommerce business, though my partner and I are still kicking round a few ideas as to what we intend to sell. Lucky for me, she is in a professional job which can support both of us alone- so there is some security there incase the venture doesn't work.

It's always good to make sure there is a safety net before you walk out onto the wire, but make sure you focus on the end of the rope and don't look down.

What I mean is, having another good income is fine as it takes the pressure off, but try to run the business as if your very lives depended on it and it will have a greater chance of success in the long run.

Best of luck and if you want any help there are plenty of people in this forum to answer your questions.
