I can't get my tuner to work with any software although it was fine originally when I first installed Windows 7 and used Windows Media Center. I thought at first it was permissions on the Recorded TV folder which I changed but I have reverted them back with no difference. The service that seems to be causing problems is Windows Media Center Receiver Service. Windows will not allow me to start the service and gives an "access denied" message. What I can't work out is that it states that permission is required from "mike-pc" but this is the account I log in to Windows with and has full administrator rights. However far back I go through the permissions I cannot get to a point which allows me to change anything on this folder.
