Web shop Pdf download

I have a friend that is looking at offering pdf downloads on a pay per view basis from her site - anybody know of any DIY Website building software whereby the Web shop "product" can be a pdf that is available for immediate download after the customer has cleared checkout?

Zen Cart does that too - zen-cart.com (open source shopping cart software). I'm sure you'll find most cart software will let you do this.

The Shop Integrator ecommerce plugin toolkit (http://www.shopintegrator.com/) would allow your friend to simply plugin ecommerce in to their existing website to sell digital download products (http://www.shopintegrator.com/feature/sell-digital-downloads.html). There is no software to install on your existing website, you simply copy and paste the auto-generated Shop Integrator script in to your web site pages for each of your products.

It gives you a fully features shopping basket which connects to the Pay Pal payment gateway to accept credit/debit card payments from non-Pay Pal account holders and Pay Pal payments.



The workflow for our digital downloads sales process (i.e. your friends purchased Pdf file) is as follows:
Shopper Buys Digital Download(s) product and pays you with Pay Pal
Immediately following the completed Pay Pal payment the shoppers web browser is transferred to an order summary page which gives them a link straight to your Shop Integrator accounts Customer Order Portal.
+ The shopper also receives an email with a link to the Customer Order Portal.
The shopper clicks through to your Shop Integrator account's Customer Order Portal where they download their purchase file(s) within the time limit and max number of downloads per file configured by the shop owner.
Something for you to think about when looking for your solution is that many other digital download solutions rely solely on sending an email to the shopper when they complete their purchase with a link to download the purchased file(s). A solution which just uses an email to the shopper can often be caught out by lots of shoppers email SPAM filters intercepting the email and thinking it is SPAM, which leads to people getting in touch with the shop owner to query where their purchased files are and the shop owner having to manually send the the purchased files to the shopper. Which really defeats the point of an automated solution.
