My blue "e" explorer keeps vanishing????

This has just started today but everytime I switch on my pc the "e" for internet explorer is missing from my desktop?

Anyone know whats going on?

My computer does things like that all the time, I find my 'E' in the start menu, I don't have one on the screen.

I suggest you install some sound-proofing because it appears to be a case of too much no-e's.

Is it XP your using? Are there any icons on the desktop?

Could always use Firefox which would be no bad thing ;)

Right click on the Desktop and select "properties" - Then select the "Desktop" tab followed by the "Customise Desktop" button, the options to add / delete icons on your desktop is in there ;)
