Hi,

Currently getting my Magento ecommerce site developed and having a play around in the admin.

I've purchased a product (using my own details and email) and the email confirmation gets sent out to me:

Dear XXXX,

Thank you for your order from Main Website Store.

Anyway how do you go about customising this email, adding the actual store name rather than 'main website store'.

Thanks,

Darrell

Hi,

Thanks for this Toni.

When I go to there, it still isn't clear on how to change the contents of the email.

Maybe I'm missing something really easy.

Thanks,

D

As above, but you need to see what the name of the email template is that is being sent.

Then, go to System>Transactional Emails, select the email template to load, that is the name of the email template in the first part. Edit the text and then save.

Or, create your own template and then go to System>Configuration>Sales Email, and select the new template that you created.

I would also recommend posting magento related questions here (http://magento-forum.co.uk/).
