Hi guys

I need some advice...

I have a customer who I do PR for and I have started conversations with the BBC for them to appear on a series which is relevant to their business and turn them into overnight celebs and give their business massive exposure if all goes to plan!

I can't be specific yet as it's early days but I am acting as a 'temporary' agent at the moment. This is a new area for me.

Does anyone know how agents work and what would be a reasonable percentage to ask for? I would like my customer to use a proper agent who will be able to see them through once I have done the introductions. Perhaps I should get an introduction fee from an agent?

Any ideas or could someone point me in the right direction?

I think 10-20% is the norm.

Hi Claire

One of our customers is a chain of Art Galleries who are in partnership with Washington Green Fine Art publishers.

Have you tried approaching them yet? Their head office is in Birmingham and supply nationwide to over 60 galleries including 6 galleries my customer owns. www.washingtongreen.co.uk

They are a really enthusiastic and professional company who are great to work with. The art they supply are all limited editions prints with the original sold at a premium.

Worth a try!

Thanks Marina,

I've sent them an e-amil to find out how I can get represented.
