Aidrian,
If you think I am driving my tractor down to London just for your Christmas party then think again pal!!!!! No way, not in a million!
On second thoughts, how does £50 and hour sound? :)
Aileen is confident, and to be perfectly honest yes, I am scared to enter to know her.....
She sounds like a psycho to me.
A scary Asian woman selling lots of shoes?
Aileen is Imelda Marcos!

Sorry Claire,
Didn't mean to offend.
I didn't realise that patchwork quilts could be considered as art.
I suppose all that effort with the needle and thread could be classed as artistic, so well done you!
My Gran would like to know how much they cost, as she says they look 'smashing and warm'. She also wants a pair od those furry slippers with the zips on the sides, but she says dont worry about putting your 'art' on them as Meg (The Jack Russell) will probably try to chew it off.
If you can give me a quote.
Cheers

Agri, you truly are a cheeky monkey!
I am sure you are aware that it is NOT as you so delightfully put it a patchwork quilt. It is infact a collage of beautiful natural papers sourced from around the globe...............including china were a lovely pair of new trainer cost just $50 dolla!
However in essex a beautiful pair of patchwork slippers costs more than your life!!

Claire,
Sorry, I seem to be getting everything mixed up.
Of course, now that you explain what it is, then I can see that it is not a quilt. Do apologise.
Very nice.
It's great when kids bring their things home from nursery. How old is yours? My little one brought some of her work home today and I was quite emotional, but she just said "don't be silly daddy it's just some old rubbish stuck onto a piece of cardboard"
I replied by say, "No darling it is in fact a collage of beautiful natural papers sourced from around the world"
"Bol***ks" she said.
Kids eh?

Aileen is clearly using some form of translation software, probably babelfish at altavista.
There are people who think that a computer can translate just as good as a human and use this type of translation in their business correspondence.
They might be free to use, but the long term cost is zero credibility.

I've just thought of something in Aileens defence.
This week I went to a netwroking event and this marketing guy stood up with placards of the names of products that have tried to hit on China, only to find that the meaning of their name is something totally different over there. For example the car brand corsa was originally called Pinto but in chinese it meant 'man with small genitals'
Maybe 'I am confident' is Aileens chinese way of saying Hi all, please be my friend!

Aileen,
It's a pleasure to have someone from China visiting the forums - welcome!
Don't be alarmed by the strange messages posted here. You may have heard of the British sense of humour. These are just some poor examples.
When you send email to the man called FastFences, be aware that he is actually a prince from Nigeria. His uncle, who was a local king, recently died and left him $80 million in his will. In order to collect it, FastFences must deposit the money in a bank account in China. You might want to ask him about this.
