Hi everyone, I'm currently with Natwest and now that my free banking period has ended, I am being charged 67p for every cheque that I pay in

Is this normal??

I am considering joining the FSB (federation of small businesses) as they offer free, unlimited business banking with the CO-OP.

I have also heard that Alliance and Leicester offer free business banking, apparently for an unlimited period, but surely there must be a catch :?:

Has anyone got any experience of this? or can you recommened an alternative

thanks everyone

Claire

The trouble is if you have a good record with a bank and a relationship if you move then you will loose that, maube go and talk to them or encourage clients to pay by other means if thats possible.

We've with Natwest, its 67p per cheque you write
and 28p for paid in.

I think Abbey had a free business banking service.

And you can always ask for a better deal.

Which reminds me, I nedd to ask for a better deal.

I use Barclays as the majority of stuff to do is free. Also I do a lot of online banking so if I do need to pay cash in etc I do into my personal account then just move it online instantly.

If its just the free banking you are after - checkout BoS 'Direct' accounts.
If it is suitable then its pretty much free for life so long as you do not write more than 100 cheques per month.

Abbey Business www.anbusiness.com is free banking for life subject to certain very generous limits - the details are on the website. I've been with them 2 years and find them terrific.
