I have looked on google, and Im worried some companies are saying no connection fee no annual fee and you get the number from £9.95

another company is saying teh same thing but charging £200 for inital setup and £495 annually.

Now do i buy the cheap one and get ripped off or do i buy the expensive one and find i have been ripped off!!???

i'd like to hear from 0845 owners on there view and any company they would recommend. They also say no call costs too ( to me )

I have used UK2numbers a few times and had no problems at all, you pay a small initial set-up free once only and you can administrate the numbers on line and re-direct them wherever you want them any time in the future - works great.

Michael,

Ozzy *may* do 0845's - maybe try dropping him a line.

I supply numbers to people from http://www.switchboardservices.co.uk - it's a licensed dealership of a larger telecoms company - it has a great switchboard system - (sign up for a free 0700 number to check the system out)

Hi Micheal

The best deal on 0845 numbers in the UK at the moment is from a company called Miura Communications, www.miura-communications.co.uk

You get a standard 0845 number for free and they even pay you 0.4p per minute for your inbound traffic! There are no set up costs, no line rental and no other charges.

There are quite a few decent companies who offer free 0845 numbers (and as mentioned above they pay you for people to use them)
Drop me a PM and I'll make a list of the ones I have tried and was happy with :)

I do 0845 numbers.

We offer them at 9.95 basically to cover the cost of set-up if the number isnt going to be used a lot. The networks put penalties on us if we say have 1000 numbers and only 50 of them are doing decent traffic.

Whatever you do do NOT pay 100s of puonds for a number that is just a rip of scam to get up front money off people.

If you want I can supply you with a number and as your part of the forum wont charge you anything for it.

either give me a call on 0870 300 9888 or drop me an email gareth.riley@tiscali.co.uk

The process is straight forward enough and you can get them setup within a day.

Thanks

Gareth

Has anyone had any dealings with www.go-call.net?

They provide a totally free 0845 number with no setup fees, no annual fees and no call fees. Too good to be true?

you only need to look at their contact details telephone and fax to know not to deal with them

070 numbers. These are whats known as personal numbers and usually are used as private numbers by MD's CEO's etc so that they can have one number phone fax and mobile on there business cards. They are not used as main contact numbers for companies. if anything other than a geographic number you use a 0845 or 0800 0870 etc. 070's can cost as much as £1 per minute which is definately ripping in coming callers off.

Their rates arent that cheap either 1.99ppm for a local call with a 1.49p connection charge. Dunno how these guys are in business with rates like that. if I charged that then I wouldnt be around still. 4.00ppm to USA it just gets better as i read their site.

I wouldnt use them after seeing that personally.

For how long? If their operator happens to get rid of the revenue they get for calls they won't be offering that deal for along time.
