I need an investor!!!
I have found a great business chance and I dont want to let it go
but I need an investment of around £10,000
The business is driveway cleaning, graffiti removal.
The £10,000 is to buy all the equiptment, the person currently operating this business has earned £1000 in one day.
He also does boat cleaning aswell which he charges up to 450 pounds for.
He can charge between 80 and 250 pound per drive.
I am willing to do all the work but as I dont have the cash to buy the equiptment.
I am looking for someone to invest on the terms that at the end of eachn month they take a % of the profit, ideally until they reach a settlement figure i.e-15,000 Please let me know if anyone is interested.
I am very motivated and know that this will make alot of money, I just hope that someone out there will give me the chance.
If anyone is interested please contact me with your terms
THANKS

If it's that much of a money spinner, why doesn't the current owner employ someone to carry on with the service - and make a mark-up?

He has said to me that he has considered doing this but, he decided that he would rather sell the equiptment and get his money back as he is very busy with his current company!!!!

If he will release his long term figures to you as a potential purchases *and they are consistently very profitable at this level* from my experience most banks would consider lending this sort of cash on a short term basis.

I did think about going down this route, but I feel that it would be better for me to get an investor, and to give them a % of the business.

Why - someone else controling part of your business? No thanks - at least banks stay out of it as long as you pay them.
In fact if you want someone to invest all the cash they will probably want a BIG say in what you do each day.

Obviously if you've decided this route you are perfectly within your rights to do so - sorry for sounding bossy :)

Yes I feel that rather than putting my company in debt, it is better to get an investor to help with the finances,
Thanks

A debt to a bank or a debt to an investor - I don't see much positive difference with going with an investor - what do you see the advantages are?

Well if I take a loan from the bank I am stuck with large payments every month where as with an investor they take there share from the profit!!

My ears are usually open to suggestions.
But having an idea is the first step - preparing a proposal for an investor is the next!
Sort of takes me back to my earlier post - will the guy release trading figures for the last two or three years?

A fantastic business opportunity, Due to unforeseen circumstances this is for sale.
No experience required, I’m happy to show you how everything works. The best day I had bearing in mind that I didn’t really spend much time promoting, a local add in the Rag was all I did and the work came flooding in. The business is based on a very high powered jet wash which is driven by a 13 hp Honda engine, I did offer to clean drives & decking, my best day was £1000 in cash in one day. The average drive takes only 20-30 minutes to do and you can charge about £80, large drives I charged up to £250 no more than a £10 in petrol and 2 ½ hours work .I have also done anti fouling stripping which is more the winter work and the going rate is about £250- £400 depending on the size of the boat you would probably use £40s worth of soft beads which are sand blasted with water on to fibre Glass , wood and metal boats without the worry of damage, this is a easy days work and should not take any longer than about 5 hours. You can sand blast and clean anything.
Graffiti removal is a huge market and schools and colleges not to mention the councils are screaming out for companies to offer this service.
Basically you can clean anything with the set up in this vehicle, it has everything as listed and apart from the Van are only 8 months old and the whole set up cost in excess of £12500.00p receipts available.
All the stationery business card 5000 flyers and the 08000 number can be transferred to the new owner and directed to a mobile.
